Custom Optical Fiber

Khác Khác

Overview

Intins Co., Ltd. uses our expertise and extensive experience in Optical Fibers to create Custom Optical Fibers for your application.

Standard optical fiber and custom configured fiber can be manufactured depending on the customer’s requirement. With standard optical fiber, you can be easy to specify the suitable kind of fiber, jacketing, wavelength/length, connector type, etc. as shown in the figure below and contact us. In case of Custom Configured Fiber, fiber bundles can be made in various shapes. The process can be much easier if the customer explains the desired form of Configure Draft or the application or environment they want to use.

It is better for us to produce the suitable one which can meet the customer’s needs by supplying the documents related to configure draft as well as the application and environment they use optical fiber.

Our Optical Fibers are available with a variety of combinations of connectors and can be manufactured in multiple lengths, jackets, fiber core sizes, and ferrules. If the options below do not meet your needs, and you would like a fiber with the different specifications, please feel free to contact us.

Single Mode Fiber is a durable, high-quality patch cord that provides uniform results with minimal signal dispersion. When light passes through a single mode fiber core, there are virtually no light reflections produced. This lowers the fiber attenuation and makes the signal's ability to travel farther. Therefore, single-mode fiber is generally intended for long-distance, higher-bandwidth applications.

Multimode fibers have a larger core (62.5 µm or 50 µm) that guides many modes simultaneously. This means that more data can pass through the multimode fiber core at any given time. This creates more light reflections and higher dispersion and attenuation, degrading the quality of long-distance signals. So generally data multimode fiber is used for audio/video applications in short distance, data and LAN.

Patch Cord: The patch cord is composed of a single fiber, and stainless steel BX, silicone monocoil, and PVDF jackets can be used.

Bifurcated Fiber: Bifurcated fiber is a Y configuration with two fibers side by side at one end and one split at the other end. This allows fibers of unified or different core diameters or wavelength ranges to be used at each end.

Splitter Fiber: A splitter fiber consists of 3 fibers. Two fibers at one end pass light to a third fiber at the common end. Although transmittance is low in this type of Y configuration, the light from each fiber mixes efficiently while traveling down the common end.

Reflection Probe: The Reflection Probe consists of a 6-around-1 fiber bundle and measures the reflection and fluorescence of solid surfaces or the backscattering and fluorescence of liquids and powders.

Dip Probe: Transmission dip probe measures the absorbance and transmittance of a solution. The probe is designed to fit a narrow stainless steel or peek or ferrule.

SMA905

Used for large core, multimode fibers

ST

Straight Tip (ST) connectors have a bayonet-style mount that allows for quick connects and disconnects but does not seat the fiber as well as other connections.

FC/PC

FC/PC connector is designed for high vibration environments. This connector allows the fibers' surfaces to be in direct contact with each other at the connector interface

FC/APC

This connector has the same basic design as the FC/PC connector, but the fiber end is polished at an angle. This “Angled Physical Contact” (APC) interface prevents light reflected at the fiber-fiber junction from traveling back up the fiber.
